Közösségi térként éled újjá Kincsem istállója
Közösségi, kulturális térként éled újjá Gödön a legendás magyar versenyló, Kincsem egykori istállója. Az összesen 152 millió forintos projekthez a Pest megyei település önkormányzata nagyarányú, 93,18 százalékos támogatást nyert az EGT-től és Norvég Alaptól.

A Kincsem kultuszhoz köthető, az istállót is bemutató kiállítás, a patkolókovács és bőrös mesterséget bemutató műhelyek is létesülnek majd a felújított istállóépületeiben és területén. Annak idején az északi szárnyban helyezkedett el Kincsem lakhelye. Az épületnek ezen a részén alakítják ki a korhűen rekonstruált lóbokszot, és itt rendezik be a csodakanca pályafutását bemutató emlékhelyet is. Ezen kívül a kerékpáros turizmust kiszolgáló bringapont és kerékpártároló – az épület mellett halad el a Budapest-Szob kerékpárút – egy kávézó, fagylaltozó és egy helytörténeti kiállítás kap állandó teret az épületegyüttesben a Göd Város Önkormányzata által megnyert pályázat tervei szerint.

A mintegy 150 éves épület teljes felújítása során rekonstruálják az eredeti homlokzatot, és kialakítanak egy többcélú, előadásokra, vetítésekre, zenei és táncprogramokra alkalmas termet is. A látogatókat két, akadálymentes vizesblokk szolgálja majd, a nagy, négyszögletes udvaron pedig szabadtéri színpadot emelnek és térbútorokat helyeznek el.
A Kincsem istálló jelen állapotában használhatatlan, de felújítása után várhatóan kedvelt célpontja lesz a bel- és külföldi turizmusnak is. A régi-új helyszín a magyar lovaskultúra fontos emlékhelyévé válik, de reméljük, hogy kerékpáros, gyalogos és autós látogatóink is jól érzik majd magukat az új környezetben. Az új épület, intézmény gazdaságilag fenntartható lesz a rendezvények és belépők díjaiból, nem terheli majd a település kasszáját – ismertette a projekt célját Markó József, a város polgármestere.

Új közösségi térrel gazdagodik Göd városa

A közeljövőben új közösségi térrel gazdagodik Göd városa. Településünk egy, a Norvég alaptól nyert pályázati támogatás révén lehetőséget kapott, hogy felújítsa a régóta hányatott sorsú Kincsem istállót.

Az épület rekonstrukciója során nem egyszerű építészeti felújításról van szó, jelentős új funkciókkal gazdagodik a tér.

Kincsem istállója korhű berendezéssel, muzeális igénnyel mutatja be, hogy és hol élt annak idején a „csodakanca”. Az épületegyüttes más részeiben helyet kap a patkolókovács és a bőrös mesterséget bemutató műhely, kiállítóterek és közösségi rendezvények, előadások, kulturális események megtartására alkalmas többfunkciós terem is. Az épületben emellett két vizesblokk és egy kávézó-fagylaltozó is várja majd a látogatókat.

Az istállóépület által körülhatárolt udvarban Kincsem szobra mellett számos térbútor, és egy szabadtéri színpad ad majd lehetőséget a tartalmas időtöltésre.

A projekt célja kettős. Egyfelől Kincsem máig élő kultusza a hazai lótenyésztés és lovassport egyik meghatározó emlékhelyévé teszi az egykori istállót, amelyet méltó állapotban megőrizni komoly felelősség, ez a 152 millió forintos projekt egyik feladata.

Másfelől a tervek szerint megépülő közösségi tér új és fontos színfoltja lesz Göd kulturális életének, ahol jelentős kulturális értékeket közvetíthetünk mind a helyi lakosok, mind az idelátogatók számára.

Megvan a kivitelező a Kincsem istálló felújításához

Nyertest hirdetett Göd Város Önkormányzata a Kincsem istálló felújítására kiírt közbeszerzési pályázaton. Az épületegyüttes és a hozzá tartozó egységek felújítását, kialakítását a Kincsem Konzorcium nyerte. A kifejezetten e célra összeállt vállalkozásokat és a konzorciumot az Everling Városépítő Építőipari Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. (2117 Isaszeg, Aulich u. 3.) vezeti, míg a kivitelezésben partnere a Sportpark Magyarország Kft. (1136 Budapest, Tátra utca 5. A. ép. al. 2.) lesz.

A nyertessel az önkormányzat október 11-én kötött szerződést. A dokumentumban teljesítési határidőként 2017. április 10-e szerepel, a vállalkozói díj pedig nettó 129.451.240,- Ft.

Mint ismeretes, az istálló területén kialakítandó közösségi, kulturális térben az egykori legendás magyar versenyló emlék-istállója mellett bemutató műhelyek, zárt és nyitott közösségi terek, kávézó, bringapont várja majd a kikapcsolódni vágyókat.

Jól halad a Kincsem istálló rekonstrukciója

Jó ütemben halad a Kincsem istálló rekonstrukciója. Kifejezetten a projekt megvalósítására létrejött konzorcium tagjai folyamatosan dolgoznak azon, hogy az egykori istállóépület mihamarabb közösségi térként éledhessen újjá.

Az összesen 152 millió forintos projekt keretében újjáépítik az eredeti homlokzatot, helyet kap egy többcélú kulturális tér, egy bringapont és egy kávézó, az udvarra pedig szabadtéri színpad és térbútorok kerülnek majd.

Jelen pillanatban elkészült a falak megerősítése és az új betonkoszorú, valamint a szakemberek végeztek az ács- és bádogosmunkákkal és a cserépfedéssel. Megemelték az udvar korábbi szintjét, és a helyére kerültek a tetősík ablakok, a csapadékvíz-elvezető rendszer, a járdaszegélyek, a belső válaszfalak – ismertette a projekt állását Popele Julianna, Göd Város Önkormányzatának beruházási és városüzemeltetési osztályvezetője.
Összességében minden adott ahhoz, hogy a projektet a tervezett határidőre, április végére átadjuk a város polgárainak és a közönségnek.

Hamarosan befejeződik a Kincsem istálló felújítása

Átadás előtt a Kincsem istálló épületegyüttese. Az összesen 152 milliós, Norvég Alap által finanszírozott épületrehabilitációs projektet várhatóan április 27-én vehetik birtokba a város polgárai és az arra járó kirándulók.

Az épület és a hozzá tartozó, három oldalról zárt udvar gyakorlatilag készen van, kisebb munkák vannak csak hátra, illetve a zöldfelületek rendezése, a takarítás, és apróbb simítások.

Az átadás napjától a Kincsem istálló látogatható, nyitva áll a nagyközönség előtt. Ugyanakkor az átadás napja a projekt záró rendezvénye, a bringapont, a kiállítás és a kávézó csak valamivel később várja majd látogatóit – mutatott rá Popele Julianna, Göd Város Önkormányzatának beruházási és városüzemeltetési osztályvezetője.

Megújult Kincsem versenyistállója

A Budapest–Vác vasútvonal elkészültét megelőzően lóváltó állomás és csárda működött az épületben, amely a XIX. század második felében már istállóként szolgált. Valódi hírnevét Kincsemnek köszönheti ez a hely, hiszen pályafutása legszebb éveiben adhatott otthont a világhírű csodakancának. A helyi védettség alatt álló épület az utóbbi évtizedekben kihasználatlanul állt, majd az elmúlt egy évben a Pest megyei település az „EGT Finanszírozási Mechanizmus 2009–2014 Kulturális és természeti örökség megőrzése, megújítása” program támogatásával felújíthatta az ingatlant.

A nagyszabású beruházásnak köszönhetően egy kulturális és közösségi funkciókat nyújtó komplexum jött létre, amely egyike lehet a térség turisztikai vonzerejét megalapozó létesítményeknek.

A felújított épületben kialakítanak egy, a csodakanca pályafutását bemutató emlékhelyet, egy kulturális ismereteket közvetítő állandó és időszaki kiállításoknak otthont adó kiállítótermet, illetve egy, a helyi ősi mesterségeket bemutató termet, és helyet kap benne egy, a kerékpáros turizmust kiszolgáló bringapont, valamint egy kávézó is.

A méltó módon újjászületett ingatlan felújítása során rekonstruálták az eredeti homlokzatot, valamint kialakítottak egy előadásokra, vetítésekre, zenei és táncprogramokra alkalmas, többcélú termet is. A látogatókat két, akadálymentes vizesblokk szolgálja, a térburkolattal ellátott nagy, négyszögletes udvar pedig szabadtéri színpadként is funkcionálhat.

A mintegy 250 éves épület multifunkcionális kialakítása megfelel a jelenkor elvárásainak. Az egykori versenyistálló így alkalmassá vált a legkülönbözőbb közösségi rendezvények befogadására.

„Felújítása után a Kincsem-istálló várhatóan kedvelt célpontja lesz a bel- és a külföldi turizmusnak. A Duna, a Budapest–Szob kerékpárút és a 2-es főút szomszédságában található létesítménybe a vendégek érkezhetnek gyalog, kerékpárral, autóval, vagy akár vízi turistaként is. A méltó módon megújult helyszín megérdemelten válik ismét a magyar lovaskultúra fontos emlékhelyévé” – mondta Markó József, a város polgármestere.

Kincsem’s Stable Will Be Reborn as a Public Space

The former stable of the legendary Hungarian racehorse Kincsem located in Göd will be reborn as a public cultural space. The local government of the small town in Pest County received a large grant of 93.18 percent from the EEA and Norway Grants for the HUF 152 million project.

The reconstructed buildings and stable area will run a Kincsem cult related exhibition introducing the stable, and workshops presenting blacksmithing and leatherworking. Kincsem’s stable was located in the northern wing at the time. This is the building part where the authentically reconstructed horse box will be set up and made into a memorial site exhibiting the career of the miracle mare. Furthermore, according to the plans of the tender won by the Municipality of Göd, a bicycle point and storage facility focusing on the bicycle tourism—the Budapest-Szob cycling route passes by the building—, a café, an ice cream parlour, and an exhibition on the local history will be permanently located in the building complex.

During the complete renewal of this nearly 150-year old building, the original front will be reconstructed, and a multi-purpose hall suitable for presentations, film screening, music and dance programmes will also be developed. Two, barrier-free washrooms will be available for visitors, an open-air stage will be raised, and public furniture will be placed in the large square garden. The Kincsem stable cannot be used in its current state but it is expected to become a favourite destination of domestic and foreign tourism after its renewal. The old-new location will turn into an important memorial site of the Hungarian equestrian culture, although it is hoped that visitors arriving by bike, on foot, or by car will also enjoy themselves in the new environment. The new building and establishment will be economically sustainable thanks to the events and entries paid, and will not burden the town’s budget, said József Markó, the town’s mayor when describing the objectives of the project.

The Town of Göd Gains a New Public Space

The Town of Göd will gain a new public space in the near future. Thanks to a grant awarded by the Norway Grants, our town got the opportunity to renew Kincsem’s stable, the life of which was full of vicissitudes.
The reconstruction of the building is not merely an architectural renewal as the space gets important new functions as well.

Like a museum, displaying authentic furniture, Kincsem’s stable will exhibit how and where the “miracle mare” lived. A workshop presenting blacksmithing and leatherworking, exhibition spaces as well as a multi-purpose hall suitable for organising public events, presentations, and cultural events will also be located in other parts of the building complex. Furthermore, two washrooms and a café and ice cream parlour will be available for the guests in the building.

Besides the statue of Kincsem, several pieces of public furniture and an open-air stage will allow meaningful activities in the garden surrounded by the stable building.
The objective of the project is twofold. On one hand, the Kincsem cult that lives to this day makes the former stable a significant memorial site of the domestic horse breeding and equestrian sport. That is why, maintaining it in a state it deserves, is a serious responsibility and one of the tasks of this HUF 152 million project.

On the other hand, the public space to be developed according to the plan will play a new and important role in the cultural life of Göd, where we have the chance to transmit significant cultural values to both local residents and visitors to the town.

The contractor for the renewal of the Kincsem stable has been revealed

The Municipality of Göd has revealed the winner of the public procurement tender for the renewal of the Kincsem stable. The tender for the renewal and development of the building complex and the pertaining units has been won by Kincsem Konzorcium. The businesses that teamed up specifically for this purpose as well as the consortium are lead by Everling Városépítő Építőipari Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. (2117 Isaszeg, Aulich u. 3.), while its partner in the construction will be Sportpark Magyarország Kft. (1136 Budapest, Tátra utca 5. A. ép. al. 2.).

The local government signed the contract with the winner on 11 October. The document sets out 10 April 2017 as the deadline for performance, and the contractor’s fee is net HUF 129,451,240.

As announced earlier, apart from the memorial stable of the legendary Hungarian racehorse, exhibitory workshops, closed and open public spaces, a café as well as a bicycle point will also be awaiting those wishing to relax within the public cultural space to be developed on the area of the stable.

Reconstruction of Kincsem Stables Making Good Progress

The reconstruction of the Kincsem stables is making good progress. Members of a consortium established specifically for carrying out this project are working continuously so that the former stable building can be revived as a community space in the very near future.
Within the framework of a project amounting to a total of HUF 152 million, the original facade will be rebuilt, a multi-purpose cultural area will be established, together with a bicycle point and a café, while an outdoor theater stage and outdoor furniture will be placed in the courtyard.
Currently, the walls have been reinforced and the new concrete frame is completed. The experts have also finished carpentry and tinsmith tasks and installed the tiled roofing. The former level of the courtyard has been elevated. The rooftop windows, rainwater system, the curbs and the partition walls have been installed, according to information provided on the project status by Julianna Popele, chief department manager responsible for investment and city management at the Göd Town Municipality.
All in all, everything is in place to be able to deliver the project to the citizens of the town and the public at large by the planned deadline, that is the end of April.

Reconstruction of Kincsem Stables Soon to be Completed

The Kincsem stable complex is about to be handed over. Having received financing from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism amounting to a total of HUF 152 million, the building refurbishment project is expected to be handed over to the town’s citizens and visitors on April 27.

The building and the connected courtyard, which is closed on three sides, are practically complete. Only minor works are still left, as well as gardening tasks, cleaning, and finishing touches.

Kincsem stables will be open to visitors and the public at large from the day it is opened. As the same time, the day of delivery is also the closing event of the project. The bicycle point, the exhibition and the café will only be open to visitors at a slightly later point in time, according to Julianna Popele, investment and city management department manager of the Municipality of Göd.

Kincsem Racehorse Stables Renewed

The former stables of the legendary Hungarian race horse, Kincsem, is being revived in Göd as a community and cultural center.

Prior to the completion of the Budapest-Vác railway line, this building had housed a horse station and tavern, and already served as a stable during the second half of the 19th century. The place became widely renowned due to Kincsem, as it was home to the world famous miracle mare during the best years of her career. During the past decades, this locally protected building stood vacant. Last year, this town, located in Pest county, had the opportunity to renew this property due to a subsidy received within the “EEA Financial Mechanism 2009 to 2014, Preservation and Renewal of Cultural and Natural Heritage” program.

As a result of this grand investment, a complex has been created which provides cultural and community functions, which can be one of the facilities laying the foundation for attracting tourists to this region.
A memorial site will be established in the renewed building that will commemorate the career of the miracle mare, in addition to an exhibition hall housing permanent and periodic exhibitions, one hall dedicated to ancient crafts, as well as a bicycle point serving tourists arriving by bicycles, and a café.

During the renewal of this deservingly reborn property, the original facade was reconstructed, and a multipurpose hall was also constructed that can be used for presentations, screenings, musical and dance programs. Two accessible restrooms are open to visitors, while the large, square, paved courtyard can also function as an outdoor stage.
The multifunctional implementation of this approximately 250 year old building meets today’s expectations. This way, the former stable has become suitable for receiving the most varied types of events.

According to József Markó, the mayor of the city: “After its renewal, the Kincsem stables is expected to be a popular destination for tourists from home and abroad. Visitors can arrive on foot, by bicycle, car, or even by water to the facility located in the vicinity of the Danube, the Budapest-Szob bicycle route, and main route 2. This deservedly renewed location will once again be an important memorial site of Hungarian equestrian culture”.
